A pulse jet dust collector valve gathers dust particles onto filters in a dust collecting chamber while in operation. Dust collects in cakes that become thick and dense, obstructing airflow through the filters and lowering the dust collector’s performance.
Pulse valves located inside the filters regularly blast compressed air countercurrent to the system airflow to eliminate dust cakes. These explosions create shockwaves through the filters, forcing the dust cakes to shatter and gather in the dust collecting chamber’s hopper.
